The SUBWAY GALLERY born on the 6th of June 2006,
is the newest addition to West London's art scene.
Situated below Edgware Rd/Harrow Rd crossing,in a W2 pedestrian subway,the public location underneath landmarks such as Paddington Green, Marylebone flyover and the Metropole Hilton Hotel. The space itself is a 1960's kiosk with glass walls which creates a unique
showcase for urban art.
Conceived by artist / curator Robert Gordon Mc Harg,the neglected kiosk, has been transformed into a magical art box. It engages the public on their journey elsewhere, interacting naturally with passers by, visitors and the local community
