SHADOW est 1984 instigates a radical overhaul of the gallery interior, recontextualising the institutional gaze and posing questions about the creeping normalisation of public surveillance. Shorvon and Hunter create an environment in which the viewer might assess their own relationship to 'public security' and those institutions that may, or may not, make them feel safe.
